Information and Communications Technology (ICT) has developed through digitising data, and bringing computing and communication together in the same environment.  ICT is widely used in financial management, design, stock control, sales, marketing, education and training, project management and communication.

Database Administrators manage and supervise computer databases.

Help Desk Operators help users to overcome problems encountered in using computers.

Multimedia Specialists develop and control by computer a combination of media like text, graphics, sound, photographic images, animation and video.

Network Administrators (Network Managers or Network Controllers) oversee and maintain computer networks, ensuring that they run smoothly.

Software Engineers (Analyst Programmers) design and create computer programs (software).

Systems Analysts (Systems Designers) investigate and analyse a problem, design a suitable computer system to deal with it, and set up and test the system.

Webmasters set up and run websites on the Internet.
