Due to popular demand, The Creatures of Phoenix Island experience at W5 has been extended. From talking trees to unicorns to dragons and the legendary Phoenix itself, encounter the creatures and explore the land at Belfast’s award-winning Science and Discovery Centre on selected dates until 29 September 2024.
Step into a land of myth and legend this month and come face-to-face with these mythical creatures. Be in awe as these enchanted beings come to life through a breathtaking fusion of larger-than-life animatronics, and captivating projections. Step into a whole new world, a land like no other, created through a mix of immersive soundscape technologies and fully themed environments.
Are you brave enough to come face-to-face with these creatures? Keep an eye out on your visit, as a carnivorous plant has been spotted and has been known to try and chomp on explorers big and small!
This walk-through experience is free with admission to W5.
Pre-booking your visit to W5 is essential. Dates for days W5 is open between 5-29 September will be bookable from Monday 2 September.
Running times in September:
Thursdays: 10am-4pm
Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays: 10am-6pm
Exceptions:
Sunday 8 September: 1pm-6pm
Friday 13 September: 10am-5pm
