For 25 years The National Lottery has been changing the lives of winners and supporting good causes across the UK. In celebration, National Lottery funded projects and attractions are saying #ThanksToYou for the more than £40 billion you’ve raised for good causes over the past 25 years, by offering free entry or special offers at hundreds of venues from 23 November to 1 December 2019.
The Odyssey Trust is thrilled to be a part of this exciting campaign. Odyssey, built on a former coal quay and derelict site in Belfast, was Northern Ireland’s millennium project costing £91m to build, £45m of which was provided by Lottery funding.
#ThanksToYou Odyssey, Northern Ireland’s family premier entertainment venue was built and opened in 2000. Since then over 14m people have visited the indoor multipurpose Arena and W5, Northern Ireland’s world class science and discovery centre, as Odyssey continues to improve the quality of life for the people of Northern Ireland.
