This means W5 is a not-for-profit charitable organisation with educational aims. As a charity, W5 can treat the cost of your admission ticket as a charitable donation. This is called Gift Aid. Making your admission under ´Gift Aid´ will enable W5 to continue its work in formal and informal education.
Gift Aid - What is it?
If you are a UK taxpayer and you make a donation that is more than 10% of the entrance fee, Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC) will give us an additional 25% on top of your entrance fee and donation.
Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, W5 will receive an extra 25 pence from the Inland Revenue.
This money can be used to make a dramatic difference to an attraction like W5 by helping us develop more educational activities such as workshops, events and exhibitions.
To thank you …
We will give you a gift voucher to spend in the shop or café on the day of your visit that is twice the value of your donation.
To take part please speak to the ticket desk operator on arrival.
