W5 Late returns this month for a spook-tacular night of child-free fun!
On Thursday 26 October 2023, 7pm-11pm, we are opening our doors after hours for our popular adult-only night, this time with a Halloween twist. Do you dare to discover what lurks in W5 once the sun goes down?
From a fully licensed bar to braving the heights of our Creepy Climbit, check out why you NEED to visit W5 Late Halloween this spooky season.
1. Enjoy W5 child-free
Don't miss your chance to explore Belfast's award-winning science and discovery centre child-free! For one night only this October, we are opening our doors after-hours and giving the adults the run of the place. Enjoy a frightfully fun evening where there are no kids allowed. It's the perfect place to unleash your inner child!
2. Enjoy a drink at our fully licensed bar
Our fully licensed bar will be open throughout the night, helping to settle the nerves after a thrilling evening and is the perfect place to catch-up with friends. Sit back, relax and enjoy a cold beer or wine at W5 Late.
3. Take part in our costume competition
Don your scariest costume, round up your friends and take part in our Halloween costume competition. The best dressed will walk away with a top prize. So, dust off your cobweb-covered attire and get ready to compete in this Halloween costume contest!
4. Explore over 250 hands-on exhibits
Now is your chance to journey through 8 action-packed zones and enjoy over 250 interactive exhibits. Creep through the vortex, launch a virtual firework, read the news bulletins in our state-of-the-art studio, and so much more! Plus, for one night only, adults can brave the heights of our Creepy Climbit! Watch out for spiders, skeletons and other creatures that are lurking in the shadows.
5. Come face-to-face with DRAGONS
Due to popular demand, our DRAGONS experience has been extended until 31 October 2023! That's right, you can now come face-to-face with these mythical creatures throughout W5 Late.
From the colossal Shadow Dragon to the young Land Dragon, watch as these fabled beasts come to life through a fusion of larger-than-life animatronics, powerful projections and magical puppetry.
