- Climbit Adventure: Explore the heights of W5’s huge multi-storey climbing structure – a cross between a vertical maze and a jungle gym!
- Party Greeter: Every W5 Birthday Party comes with a party greeter, who will welcome your group on arrival and ensure the celebrations run smoothly.
- Party Food: No party is complete without delicious food! We provide tasty party food that kids love, ensuring everyone stays fuelled up for all of the fun.
- Optional Add-Ons: For an additional cost, you can boost your party with optional party bags or add a 45-minute 'The Lost Planet’ slot in W5’s multisensory activity zone designed for children aged 3-11.
Catering and Refreshments
- A selection of tasty pizza slices for each party guest, including ham and cheese, pepperoni and margherita options on the menu.
- Fruit shoots for refreshments.
- A selection of crisps will be provided.

Pricing
£15 per child (minimum 8). Up to 4 adults free of charge.
Please note that a deposit of £45 is required to confirm any birthday party booking. Payment of the final party balance can be made in person on the day of the party.
Optional Add-Ons
Parents can choose to add the following extras to their party at an additional cost.
- A 45-minute Lost Planet visit at £2.50 per child.
- Party bags at £2.50 each.

How much does it cost?
- £15 per child (includes a visit to exhibition floors and party food) minimum 8 children.
- 4 adults free (includes party food). Additional adults charged at £8.50. Please see below for the required ratio of adults to children.

A non-refundable deposit of £45 is required to be paid 21 days in advance of the party.

Please note that while we will do our best to accommodate dietary requirements, we recommend that children with severe allergies bring their own food.

Can I bring a birthday cake?
Yes, you are welcome to bring a birthday cake but please note candles are not permitted due to our fire safety regulations.
Where can party guests be dropped off and picked up by parents?
Party guests should be dropped off and picked up on the ground floor in W5 – entering through the Ticket Desk.
How many adults do I need to bring?
As per our ratio guidelines, please see below the number of adults to children we require at the birthday parties.
- Preschool (under 3): 1:2/3.
- Nursery (3- 4 years old): 1:5.
- Foundation/KS1 (6-8 years old): 1:8.
- KS2/Post Primary (8 +): 1:10.
It is your responsibility to ensure you bring the required number of adults.
Can I bring my own decorations?
W5 will provide tablecloths, plates and napkins but you are welcome to bring additional decorations. Please note helium balloons are not permitted.
Where can I store decorations/presents etc?
W5 will provide large containers for coats, decorations and presents, which can be stored in our cloakroom.
Can I make changes to my party?
You can make changes; however, final numbers must be confirmed 72 hours in advance of the party to allow for food preparation.
Booking & Payment
- A £45 non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking. Once your booking has been confirmed, a member of our team will be in touch to arrange payment. This can be paid over the phone, or in person at W5. Deposits must be paid within 21 days of your original enquiry. If the deposit is not paid within this time, your date will be released back to the public.
- All deposits are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your party, we can move your party to another date/time that suits you, depending on our availability.
- The final number of party guests must be confirmed at least 72 hours before your party date. This includes both children and adults attending.
- Payment of the final party balance can be made in person on the day of the party.
- There must be a minimum of 8 party children per party. You will be charged for at least 8 guests even if fewer show up on the day.
- We require at least four adults for each birthday party. Your package allows for four free adults. Any additional adults will be charged £8.50.
Cancellation
- If you need to cancel your party, cancellations made within 72 hours will be charged 50% of the party cost. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the party date, will be charged 100% of the total party cost.
- As stated above, we can move your party to another date/time that suits you, depending on our availability.
Conduct & Responsibilities
- You are always responsible for the supervision and conduct of the children in your group. Children must never be left unattended or allowed to explore the exhibition floors of the building alone.
- A member of our team will be your designated party greeter on the day, and will meet your group, advise of timings and be on hand to answer questions. They will not take responsibility for your children.
Personal Property
W5 accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to the property of visitors and any property left within the party room is done so at your own risk.
