Are lockers available?

Yes. Lockers are available for public use (for example storage of coats or lunches) on the ground floor and operate with £1.00 coin, which is returned when the locker is opened. There is also a "Buggy Park" where you can leave your buggy while you enjoy the floors.

Do you cater for people with special needs?

Yes. W5 is a friendly organisation and we have endeavoured to provide disability access for ALL visitors. We provide a loop system at our ticket desk and in the Lecture Theatre - please ask for details. W5 have toilets located on each floor which are fully accessible for visitors who use wheelchairs. Our exhibits are designed to be multi-sensory, offering an exciting and interactive experience for a wide range of visitors.

Are refreshments available?

Yes. W5's Coffee Lab is open daily and offers a range of tea, coffee and soft drinks. If you're feeling peckish, a daily selection of soups, fresh sandwiches, salads, and snacks are also available.

How do I claim my SSE Reward discounted tickets?

Are you an SSE Reward member? Claim your reduced price W5 tickets in person at the ticket desk, by showing your SSE Reward discount code to a member of the team. Please note: you cannot pre-book tickets with your SSE Reward discount code. Please be assured capacity will be reserved daily for SSE Reward customers purchasing tickets at the W5 ticket desk.

Do I need to book in advance?

Pre-booking remains essential via our online booking portal - pick a day and time at your own convenience. We're operating at a reduced capacity for now, and have introduced timeslots with admissions every 30 minutes. Please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before your timeslot.

Can I make changes to my booking?

Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, except at the discretion of the Visitor Experience Team. Booking change requests should be sent via our Contact Us form.

Is there available car parking nearby?

Can I bring food to W5?

Yes, W5 has designated picnic areas that are situated on level 1, level 3 and level 5. Here you can bring along your own refreshments. W5 also have a coffee shop on level 1 which serves a daily selection of food along with soft and hot drinks. However, please note only refreshments purchased in Coffee Lab can be consumed in this area.
