Calling all budding scientists between 8-11 years!
Bright Sparks is back and will be running on selected dates in July and August.
Each day will be jam-packed with exciting activities linked to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Activities will include workshops, science shows, exhibition visits, construction challenges, coding, animation and much more. Each week will also include a special field trip within the local area.
The camp is designed for children aged 8 to 11 years old (children commencing Year 5, 6, 7 or 8) and runs from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
The SeeSaw App will be used by the team to share the fun of Bright Sparks with parents and guardians.
Running Dates
Bright Sparks Summer Camps will run from 9am-5pm on the following days:
- Monday 3rd July to Friday 7th July 2023
- Monday 17th July to Friday 21st July 2023
- Monday 24th July to Friday 28th July 2023
- Monday 31st July to Friday 4th August 2023
- Monday 7th August to Friday 11th August 2023
- Monday 14th August to Friday 18th August 2023
What will it cost?
The cost for one week is £150/child (with a £25 reduction per child, for additional children). Enrolment fees are non-refundable and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Numbers are limited (minimum 8, maximum 16 participants per camp) therefore please book early to avoid disappointment.
Lunch and Refreshments
Children are asked to bring along a morning and afternoon snack and a packed lunch. They can also visit W5’s coffee shop which serves a daily range of fresh sandwiches, traybakes and snacks.
