This summer, an epic adventure awaits at W5. Get ready to step into a whole new world, a world of DRAGONS. Stand before an array of these majestic creatures that move, roar, and even breathe smoke. From the colossal Shadow Dragon to a young and spirited Land Dragon, are you brave enough to come face-to-face with these beasts?

Pop along to our Science Stage on level 2 and witness eureka moments with our free daily science shows. From breathing fire just like these mythical creatures to touching a cloud in our Deep Freeze show, prepare to be amazed with some up-close science.
Free Drop-In Sessions
Take part in our FREE daily drop-in sessions at our Science Stage on level 2. Design your very own paper dragon that soars through the sky, put your engineering skills to the test and make a dragon boat, plus lots more.
W5 Late - Myths and Magic
Prepare to enter a land of Myths and Magic at W5's adults-only evening, W5 Late. Brace yourself for a night of enchantment on Friday 28 July and see close-up magic with a roving magician, come face-to-face with DRAGONS and explore over 250 interactive exhibits, with no kids in sight!
