W5, Belfast’s award-winning science and discovery centre, has proudly partnered with Northern Ireland’s largest financial services employer - Citi. The global banking company are now proud sponsors of W5’s In Our Nature zone.
Located on the fourth floor of W5, In Our Nature allows visitors to explore the diverse and beautiful landscapes of Northern Ireland with fresh water, rocky coastlines and agricultural woodlands. This exhibition area aligns with Citi’s wider ESG agenda, their purpose of helping to find solutions to the world’s toughest challenges along with their global and local commitment to achieving a net zero economy.
Commenting on Citi’s sponsorship of the In Our Nature Zone, Victoria Denoon, Head of W5 Experience, said:“At W5, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and proud to work alongside like-minded, forward-thinking businesses. W5’s ‘In Our Nature’ zone brings the great outdoors to life through digital exhibitions that both adults and children can get involved in. Both W5 and Citi play an important role in Belfast’s Titanic Quarter. The area attracts thousands of visitors each day including families, school groups and children from Northern Ireland and further afield who visit W5 in pursuit of interactive discovery opportunities. The hands-on and immersive science and discovery centre offers a rich and unique learning environment for all with 8 fun-filled zones and over 250 hands-on exhibits.
Citi’s wider community-focused agenda in Northern Ireland for 2023 will include promoting sustainable practices for businesses and consumers alike, supporting local charities and continuing to grow diversity and inclusion within its expanding team.
