This Halloween, get ready to experience thrilling tricks and treats at W5.
From mind-boggling science shows at our Spooky Science Bar, tales of terror at Creepy Campfire Tales, to out-of-this-world fun at LEGO®: Mini Build, enjoy a fearsome family day out this Halloween.
Our largest exhibit, Climbit, has even been given a spooky makeover. Take care to cross under the pumpkin arch and scale the heights of our multi-storey climbing structure. Watch out to avoid the spiders, skeletons and other creatures that are lurking in the shadows.
For those who would prefer to keep their feet firmly planted on the ground, make sure to visit the Hocus Pocus Café, located at the foot of Climbit. Indulge in some tasty treats and different potions, sure to get you in the spooky season spirit.
If you're feeling brave enough, you can take a selfie at one of our monstrous photo opportunities upon entry to W5.

Be transported to a hidden forest clearing, sit by the fire and listen to spine-chilling stories told by our master storytellers, weaving haunting tales that will send shivers down your spine. Perfect for both kids and adults, these eerie tales are guaranteed to add a dash of frightful fun to your family Halloween experience and are sure to have you on the edge of your seat!

Spooky Science Bar
Join us at the Science Bar for an array of spine-tingling science shows that are sure to thrill! Take a journey into the shadows with 'Extreme Existence: The Dark', where you'll discover how creatures thrive in darkness and adapt to life without sunlight. Then, get ready for an explosive experience with 'Off with a Bang', where our team will demonstrate the science behind fireworks with vibrant, eye-popping experiments that will light up your imagination. You can blast out of this world this mid-term at the LEGO® Mini Build drop-in event. Head to level 4, and use your imagination to create your very own LEGO® creation! PLUS, you even get to take it home with you! And for the artists out there, we will also have a LEGO® colouring station to draw up your own masterpieces.

Our iconic climbing structure, Climbit, has undergone a haunting transformation! Brave the creepy pumpkin arch and climb to the top of our towering structure. Beware of the spiders, skeletons, and other eerie creatures lurking in the shadows!

For those who prefer to stay grounded, head over to the Hocus Pocus Café and treat yourself to some devilishly delicious snacks and spooky potions that will get you in the Halloween spirit.
Snap a Scary Selfie
There will also be spooky photo opportunities, perfect for capturing your Halloween memories. On entry to W5, you will be greeted by a series of cartoon monsters, werewolves, and more, and you will be able to pose and snap a picture with them. Don't worry, they won't bite! Well, they might if you forget to tag us on social media #W5Halloween.
