Bright Sparks Summer Camp

Calling all budding scientists!

This year’s Bright Sparks summer camps will run in July and August on selected dates. Each day will be jam-packed with exciting activities linked to science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Activities will include workshops, science shows, exhibition visits, construction challenges, coding, animation, and much more. Each week will also include a special field trip within the local area.

The camp is designed for children aged 8 to 11 years old (children commencing Year 5, 6, 7 or 8) and runs from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.

Bright Sparks is one of the most exciting kids’ summer camps around, and W5 shares the fun with parents and guardians via the SeeSaw App, sending daily updates.

• Monday 21st July to Friday 25th July 2025

• Monday 28th July to Friday 1st August 2025

• Monday 4th August to Friday 8th August 2025

• Monday 11th August to Friday 15th August 2025

• Monday 18th August to Friday 22nd August 2025

What are the costs?

The cost for one week is £150/child (£25 reduction for each additional child, e.g. two children = £275, three = £400).

Enrolment fees are non-refundable, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Numbers are limited (minimum 8, maximum 16 participants per camp); therefore, please book early to avoid disappointment.

Lunch and refreshments

Children are asked to bring a morning and afternoon snack, and a packed lunch. They can also visit W5’s coffee shop, which serves a range of fresh sandwiches, tray-bakes and snacks.
