Pumpkins and Potions

Step onto the grounds of the W5 Academy for a special open day like no other. Wizards and witches have descended on W5, bringing their dusty vials, bubbling cauldrons, and spellbinding secrets. This Halloween, our Potion Masters are ready to reveal the science behind their most mysterious spells from exploding pumpkins and fizzing potions to oodles of ooze and strange concoctions.

Pumpkins and Potions is our brand-new live, interactive show that will amaze the young… and the young at heart. Every spell is packed with jaw-dropping experiments, magical surprises, and hands-on discovery. Join the class and be spellbound by this frightfully fun, family science show.

Dates & Times

Pumpkins and Potions runs from 24 October to 2 November with shows daily at 12pm, 2pm and 4pm in the W5 Lecture Theatre.

Free with general admission to W5. Shows have limited capacity and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Please note that Halloween dates will be bookable from Tuesday 30 September.
