For ages 9 –14, W5 LIFE is your ultimate Halloween destination for hands-on fun! Join us for one, two, or all three electrifying days, each packed with thrilling activities to supercharge your digital skills, forge new friendships, and unleash your creativity.

This camp takes place across three days in W5 LIFE from 9am-4pm:

W5 LIFE is located in Odyssey Place, adjacent to the front entrance of W5.

Monday - MineCoders

Kids will unlock the secrets of coding inside Minecraft Education and put their skills to the test as they explore a spooky haunted Minecraft Mansion.

But it’s not just about coding solo – teamwork is key! Campers will join forces, share ideas, and build epic Minecraft creations together, bringing their most ambitious designs to life.

It’s a Halloween adventure packed with creativity, collaboration, and plenty of fun. Perfect for curious minds who love gaming, building, and discovering new skills.

Tuesday - Movie Makers

Lights, camera, action! Young directors will step into the world of stop-motion animation and bring their wildest ideas to life on screen.

Campers will get hands-on as they design characters, build sets, direct scenes, and edit their very own mini-movie. From experimenting with fun techniques to adding those final touches, every step is a chance to unleash creativity and discover the magic of movie-making.

Best of all? They’ll head home with a spook-tacular stop-motion masterpiece to share with family and friends!

Thursday - Game On!

Step into the shoes of game designers, coders, and even Esports champions.

From building their own board game from scratch to creating a retro-inspired arcade game in MakeCode Arcade, every challenge is a chance for young tech wizards to flex their creativity and sharpen their tech skills. And with plenty of teamwork and friendly competition along the way, the fun never stops!

This Halloween, let your child unleash their inner gamer and be part of the ultimate hands-on gaming adventure.

Tickets to the Techno Sparks Halloween Camp cost £40 per day per child.

Enrolment fees are non-refundable, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pre-booking your ticket is essential. Numbers are limited, and we advise booking early to avoid disappointment.

Please note: Children attending the Techno Sparks Halloween Camp can gain entry to W5 after the camp with one adult for free. Tickets for any additional adults or children should be pre-booked.
