Looking for fun, hands-on activities to spark young imaginations? Every Saturday, W5 LIFE (Learning and Innovation For Everyone) opens its doors to a world of creativity, coding, science, and seasonal surprises with exciting family-friendly drop-in sessions.

Please note that all children must be accompanied by an adult.

Blast Off & Build: The Brick & Blocks Challenge

Blast off into a summer of creativity, coding and construction at W5 LIFE! Young explorers are invited to design and build their very own futuristic space bases using LEGO bricks and Minecraft Education.

Will your base survive on the Moon? Could it support life on Mars? From launch pads and research labs to space farms, the possibilities are endless.

Builders take part in our two exciting challenge zones:

• LEGO Space Base Challenge - Design and build a hands-on space station using LEGO.
• Minecraft Education Space Base Challenge - Create your ultimate base in Minecraft Education. Build solo or join shared Minecraft worlds to create something out of this world together with your friends or family.

Perfect for young engineers, gamers, designers and creative thinkers!

Running on multiple dates, including:

• Saturday 8, 15, 22 and 29 August

Session 1: 10am-12:30pm

Session 2: 1:30pm-4pm

Free drop-in. No pre-booking required.

Suitable for age 8+. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
