A summer of science starts here!

Get ready for Bright Sparks Summer Camps this July and August.

Each day is packed with hands-on STEM activities, including workshops, science shows, exhibition visits, construction challenges, animation, and much more. Every week also features a special field trip within the local area.

Designed for budding scientists aged 8 to 11 years old (starting Years 5-8), the camp runs Monday to Friday, from 9am to 5pm.

Your child is guaranteed to have an unforgettable week of adventure! Parents and guardians can follow the fun with daily updates via the SeeSaw App.

This camp takes place in W5 from 9am-5pm each day:

Tickets to Bright Sparks Summer Camp cost £150 per child per week.

Please note: Bookings are split into two camps per week, with 16 places available per camp. Numbers are limited; therefore, please book early to avoid disappointment.

How much does the Bright Sparks Summer Camp cost?

The cost for one week is £150 per child. Enrolment fees are non-refundable, and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Where is the camp located?

The camp is held in W5, located in The O2 Belfast.

Is lunch included in the camp cost?

Lunch is not included in the cost and children are asked to bring a morning and afternoon snack, and a packed lunch (nut-free). They can also visit W5’s coffee shop, which serves a range of fresh sandwiches, tray-bakes and snacks.

What time does the camp run?

The camp runs from Monday to Friday, with each day running from 9am to 5pm.

What age range is the camp suitable for?

The Bright Sparks Summer Camp is suitable for children aged 8-11 years old.

Can children leave the camp unaccompanied?

In line with our child protection policy, only children aged 13 or over may leave unaccompanied, and this requires a signed permission form from a parent or guardian. All children under the age of 13 must be collected by a parent or guardian.

Is there access to parking?

Yes, 15 minutes of free parking is available at 9am and 5pm to allow for convenient drop-off and pick-up of your child.
