Quiet Session

Our Quiet Sessions are all the same fun of W5 but with much less hustle and bustle.

At W5, we understand that every visitor has unique needs and reasons for attending a Quiet Session. Our goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment where everyone can enjoy W5 at their own pace in a calmer, more relaxed setting.

During our Quiet Session, W5 will:

• Provide a Social Story ahead of time, with information on what to expect during your visit
• Limit admissions to ensure a calm and relaxing atmosphere
• Allow flexible arrival and departure times
• Provide hand sanitiser to borrow for the duration of the visit
• Lower the volume on exhibits where possible and highlight exhibits which may be a little loud but have no volume control
• Open The Lost Planet soft activity zone at no extra cost and without timed sessions
• Allow adults on Climbit and The Lost Planet (in a caring capacity)
• Allow access to the Quiet Room
• Allow access to the First Aid Room to manage health conditions

Please note: Noise levels and capacity will increase after 12pm, but Quiet Session visitors are welcome to stay until closing time.

Carers go free with a full-paying child (proof of carer status required).
